Srinagar, 7th Feb: Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, Hon’ble Vice Chairperson J&K KVIB presided over performance review meeting of J&K KVIB Kashmir Division on 7th February, 2022 at Sanat Ghar Bemina Srinagar.
The meeting was attended by Secretary/CEO J&K KVIB, Senior officers and all the District officers of Board. During the meeting, it was informed that margin money of Rs. 122 crores has been released to 5593 unit holders thereby creating employment opportunities for 44492 persons, during the current financial year.
It was also informed that 05 clusters are being established under SFURTI in order to promote traditional and village industries in Kashmir Division. 04 clusters are coming up under handicrafts activity while as, 01 of the cluster is being established under Bee Keeping activity.
Dr. Hina Shafi noted with appreciation the performance of Board in Kashmir Division under various schemes implemented and enjoined on officials of the Board to work with vigour, zeal and zest in order to provide employment opportunities to educated unemployed youth.
